I’m an independent IFRS expert with 15+ years of experience in corporate reporting and technical accounting. I work with companies and audit firms, providing practical, focused remote support on complex IFRS application issues. Before going independent, I followed a traditional career path: starting as a Big 4 auditor and later moving into industry, where I held roles across technical accounting, corporate reporting and management.

Independent IFRS Consultant

2021 – present

  • Provided expert technical advice on various IFRS accounting issues to companies and audit firms, notably in areas such as lease accounting software development, business combination accounting, common control mergers, share-based payment awards, deferred tax calculation models, and impairment testing of non-financial assets.

2016 – 2021

  • Provided management with advice on a broad spectrum of accounting topics, analysing technical issues to deliver effective solutions. Highlights include mergers and acquisitions (incl. BCUCC), joint ventures, impairment tests, C&L provisions, correction of accounting errors, factoring of trade receivables, restructuring, government grants, presentation of financial statements, and alternative performance measures.

  • Managed key financial reporting processes, including month-end close and preparation of consolidated financial statements published on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, along with internal financial reporting for key stakeholders.
